Course Duration & Schedules
ACE is designed for first-year undergraduate students. Attendance is mandatory for all sessions to pass the course.

This course is non-credit bearing and consists of 12 sessions.
2. Schedules
ACE offers two delivery modes: a standard mode and an intensive mode. Students can choose either mode in their first year of studies during the course enrollment and add/drop period.
I. Standard Mode

EITHER a single 3-hour class each week |
OR 1-hour class plus a 2-hour class each week |
OR 2-hour class plus a 1-hour class each week |
The standard mode runs over 12 weeks in either the first or second semester of the students’ first year.
Classes are scheduled in one of the following formats each week:
- A single 3-hour session.
- A combination of a 1-hour session and a 2-hour session.
- A combination of a 2-hour session and a 1-hour session.
II. Intensive Mode
Two intensive modes are offered in an academic year. The intensive mode consists of two modules. Students need to complete both modules to pass the course in their first year of studies.

Each module consists of six sessions. Three sessions will be held per week, with each session lasting 3 hours.
