This course aims to help students improve specific academic writing text types typical in the IELTS writing exam. We will analyse and practise question types for Writing Task 1 and Writing Task 2. Exemplars will be given in order to understand requirements for the higher bands. We will also revise grammar and vocabulary for describing graphs (Task 1) and write an argumentative essay (Task 2).
