Tiffany gained a PhD in neurolinguistics after completing her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and linguistics. Her major research focus during the PhD period was to examine the brain mechanisms of reading and dyslexia with the use of neuroimaging (mainly fMRI) techniques. She strives to utilize her knowledge in neuroscience and psychology to translate brain research findings into practical classroom instructions.
Tiffany has a deep-rooted love for psychology. During her undergraduate years, Tiffany sought training and earned her accreditation of Certified Hypnotherapist and Registered Member recognized by American Board of Hypnotherapy and Professional Board of Hypnotherapy, Canada. She has subsequently earned multiple psychology-related certifications including Dream Analyst, Graphologist, and Phototherapist.
Over the years, Tiffany has contributed herself to many different organizations in Hong Kong and overseas, executing programmes for children and adults with special needs, including autism, dyslexia, attention deficit disorder and psychosis. Her strong passion for learning new languages also enables her to inject energy and enthusiasm into language teaching.
