Jamie taught English for Academic Purposes at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University before joining CAES and previously held teaching positions at the University of Edinburgh, University College London, and the University of Sheffield. His experience includes specialist support for students and staff with specific learning differences, and his teaching career spans secondary, further, and international school settings across Ireland, the UK, and the UAE.
At CAES, Jamie teaches English for Academic Purposes modules for Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. His research interests centre on academic literacies, technology-enhanced language learning, and inclusive approaches to digital education.
