Mable grew up in England and graduated from the University of Leeds with a degree in English Language and Literature. Following completion of her Masters in Applied Linguistics at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2014, Mable started teaching at City University (CityU). She was responsible for teaching a range of English courses for undergraduate students, including University English, Business English, Legal English and Travel Writing. In a previous career, Mable was a communication specialist at Cathay Pacific Airways, where she was responsible for managing communications between the airline’s management and the air crew — both pilots and flight attendants.
At HKU, Mable mainly teaches Technical English courses for Engineering students.
