Eleanor has taught English for academic and specific purposes for students from different disciplines at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has also supervised a number of capstone projects for the Centre’s Master of Arts programme in Applied Linguistics.

Eleanor has served as Co-Investigator for the TDG project Evaluation and Revision of the Academic Vocabulary Moodle for the Core University English Course (CUE) and as Project Coordinator and Co-Investigator for the inter-university UGC funded project Online Support for Academic Writing for Engineering Curriculum. Her research interests include academic literacies and English for Specific Purposes.
