Laura graduated from Trinity University with a double major in Chinese Studies and Sociology. After graduating, she worked as a program coordinator for the Center of International Engagement at her alma mater before moving to Hong Kong, where she worked as a visiting English tutor at Lingnan University. Her academic interests are Applied Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, and cross-cultural communication.
