Carly graduated from The University of Hong Kong with double majors in English Studies and Translation. She went on to further her studies and obtained her Master of Philosophy degree in Chinese American female literature. Before joining CAES, she taught Translation Studies in various local universities.
Currently, Carly teaches a range of English enhancement courses for undergraduate students and coordinates the English-in-the-Discipline courses for the Faculty of Education. Her research interests include teaching and learning in higher education, language assessment, and EAP/ESP pedagogy.
