CAES23S0005 Introduction to IELTS Reading and Listening

This course aims to help students develop and apply the strategies they need to achieve the best possible score in the IELTS Reading Test and the IELTS Listening paper. We will analyse and practise question types in the reading paper and help students to understand how to answer IELTS reading questions and manage time. We will also analyse and practise the commonly-seen question types and formats in the listening paper and help students develop useful test-taking strategies to tackle IELTS listening questions. Students will have the opportunity to apply and consolidate what they have learned in the course by participating in mock listening tests.
