Originally from Canada, Denise moved to Hong Kong to complete her undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Laws (LLB). Since then, Denise has taught language-related and Communication courses in various tertiary institutions. Her research interests include English, English learning, learner agency language learning in private tutorial, shadow education, and English for Academic Purposes.
