Grace Chang

Prior to joining CAES, Grace was a teacher trainer at the Faculty of Education of the University. There she delivered pedagogy courses to BA&BEd (English) and MA(TESOL) students, supervised Professional Teaching Practicum, and served on the FELPT/LPATE team. At CAES, Grace currently teaches Academic Communication in English and English-in-the-Discipline courses for Business and Economics as well as Engineering students. She has also coordinated SFEC Dissertation Writing and Presentation Skills workshops for taught postgraduate students and supported the university-wide Communication-Intensive Courses (CiC) project in the past.

Teaching aside, Grace works closely with the Education Bureau and the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority, and regularly adjudicates English writing and speech competitions in the local community, such as the HKSMSA Speech Festival. Her academic interests include CLIL in higher education, teacher training, and discourse analysis.
