Advance signposting with ‘Although’: clearly, in the 2nd of these, the writer signals the concessive relationship between the 2 propositions in advance, and thereby manages to place the main clause, the key ‘new’ information, in ‘end-focus’ position - on the basis that sentences tend to culminate in new or more significant information.
