Rachel has over 20 years’ experience in teaching English language and communication skills in both academic and workplace contexts spanning across a range of disciplines (i.e. banking and finance, hospitality, tourism, computer science, engineering, performing arts, dentistry). In addition to Hong Kong, she has worked across the Asia-Pacific region including Guangzhou, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Shanghai, Singapore, and Taipei.
As an educator, Rachel believes in helping the learners (i.e. postgraduates, undergraduates or business professionals) apply the language skills/strategies learnt in the classroom to their real-world settings.
Rachel is currently involved in teaching undergraduate academic language skills and workplace writing and oral communications skills.
