Communication Advisor

  • BA(Hons) in Near Eastern & Classical Archaeology, Wilfrid Laurier University
  • MSc in Human Osteology, Leiden University
  • PhD in Biological Anthropology, The University of Cape Town

Judyta completed her degrees in Canada, The Netherlands and South Africa, and specialises in biocultural frameworks and dental anthropology. She has worked on numerous continents around the world in hopes to gain a thorough understanding of her discipline and academic culture within different higher education structures. Where she is an archaeologist/biological anthropologist by trade, her academic and professional experiences introduced another passion of improving communication strategies between collaborators and teacher-learner dynamics. She thus advocates for sustainable archaeology and dissemination of knowledge on biocultural frameworks, as well as academic literacy skills and effective teaching strategy.
