Before joining CAES, Wesley was a Principal Lecturer at University of Saint Joseph in Macau, where he taught and developed academic and general English courses. Previously, he taught English language and other subjects in local Hong Kong secondary schools. He has coached secondary school debate teams and recently helped organise and judge the 1st Macau-wide English Poetry Writing and Recital Contest. At CAES he teaches Core University English and English-in-the-Discipline.
His academic interests include sociolinguistics and academic reading and writing pedagogy.
