Sahar is originally from the UK. She has worked in ELT (English Language Teaching) in the UK, Brazil, Hong Kong & online (worldwide platform), within the following areas:

  • ESP (English for Specific Purposes), including Corporate English
  • EAP (English for Academic Purposes), including tertiary-level spoken, written, LPATE & IELTS preparation
  • ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), including citizenship & entry examinations
  • Educational Publishing (Senior Secondary level textbooks), including HKDSE English Language examination preparation



Her academic interests include:

  • (blended/ online) teacher development & identity
  • (blended/ online) classroom management
  • (blended/ online) curriculum/ materials design 
  • critical thinking development (particularly in process writing & drafting)



She teaches:
