ACE is designed for first-year undergraduate students<\/strong>. Attendance is mandatory for all sessions to pass the course.<\/p>\n

2. Schedules<\/h1>\n

ACE offers two delivery modes: a standard mode<\/strong> and an intensive mode<\/strong>. Students can choose either mode in their first year of studies<\/strong> during the course enrollment and add\/drop period.<\/p>\n

I. Standard Mode<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The standard mode runs over 12 weeks face-to-face in either the first or second semester of the students\u2019 first year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Classes are scheduled in one of the following formats each week:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • A single 3-hour session.<\/li>\n
  • A combination of a 1-hour session and a 2-hour session.<\/li>\n
  • A combination of a 2-hour session and a 1-hour session.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    II. Intensive Mode<\/h2>\n

    One intensive mode <\/strong>is offered in an academic year. The intensive mode consists of two modules<\/strong>. Students need to complete both modules to pass the course in their first year of studies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Each module consists of six sessions. Each session lasts 3 hours. Check the “Important Dates” on this course website for the intensive mode schedule.<\/p>\n
