CSS delivered a three-part workshop series titled “Preparing Students to Complete Communication Assessments” to Common Core tutors on 21 and 28 September, and 5 October, 2020. CSS held video production training sessions for Communication Advisors and Peer Consultants in August 2020 and January 2021, and produced 16 short promotional videos, which have been circulated widely through campus TV, mass emails, and social media. SEMESTER 2 OTHER CSS EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR The Digital Literacy Lab (DLL) was particularly successful in its engagement with faculty partners, and in helping course teachers to support digital media literacy development. In the first semester, DLL in-class workshops were given within these courses: CCHU9082 , AFRI2019 , HIST2136 , CCCH9042 , and CCST9048 . The DLL also delivered digital media training for teachers of CCGL9061 . In the second semester, the DLL delivered in-course workshops to CCST9010 , CCGL9028 , CCHU9050 , CONS2007 , and a briefing on DLL services in CCHU9080 . In summer 2021, the DLL gave in-course workshops in CCHU9058 and CAES2001 . The Writing Centre collaborated with the teaching staff of CCGL9061 and CCHU9080 in the first and second semesters, respectively, to offer out-of-class learning resources and in-class workshops for students.
