CAES ANNUAL REPORT 2019 – 2020 5 4 Primary Mission The Centre’smission is to improve the academic literacy skills of undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). The Centre provided courses for 8,115 postgraduate and undergraduate students in 2019-2020. All of our courses have been designed in consultation with faculty colleagues to ensure that they are teaching communication skills which are well-aligned with students’ curricula.
