    Brett Cumming, FHEA, holds master’s degrees in Applied Linguistics, TESOL, Education, and an MPhil in Applied Research. He is an ELICOS and AMEP teacher at TAFE Queensland and has taught adult English language learners in Australia and Japan for more than two decades. His research interests include metadiscourse, intercultural rhetoric, second language writing, digital discourse, and language education.
